The Lincoln Park Lost & Found

Serves 1

Botanical Syrup:

  • 3 cups water
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 8 crab apple flowers
  • 8 violet flowers
  • 1 Tbsp. dried lemon peel
  • 1 Tbsp. dried orange peel
  • 1 Tbsp. dried heather

Bring all ingredients to a boil; steep 30 minutes; strain, reserving liquid.

  • 2 oz. Caorunn Gin
  • bar spoon of anCnoc Rutter Whisky (or any peaty Single Malt Scotch)
  • .75 oz. lemon juice
  • 2 dashes fennel bitters
  • 1 heavy dash dandelion bitters
  • sliver of ginger
  • 2 leaves catnip
  • 1 small sprig creeping Charlie
  • 2 sprigs wild onion
  • 2 leaves Virginia waterleaf

Shake all ingredients and .75 oz. reserved botanical syrup vigorously in cocktail shaker; double strain into coupe glass; garnish with lemon peel, rose, and optional flowers.
