Eye of the Tiger
Bon Vivants, Trick Dog, San Francisco - November 2013
This recipe appears in conjunction with Trick's Treats, November 2013.
- 1 1/2 oz. Pierde Almas Mezcal La Puritita Verdá
- 1/2 oz. honey mustard syrup (see below)
- 2 oz. organic unfiltered apple juice
- 3/4 oz. lime juice
Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker; add ice; shake; double strain into a rocks glass; pour over fresh ice.
Honey mustard syrup:
- 250g honey
- 125g water
- 15g mustard powder
- 5g salt
- 12 1/2g Banyuls vinegar
- 2 1/2g tarragon leaves
Add all ingredients to a blender; blend 2 minutes; strain through a fine strainer; refrigerate.
