Mexican Spiced Cider
Mercadito, Chicago - November 25th, 2013
- 6 cinnamon sticks
- 2 cloves
- 4 1/2 cups apple cider
- 2 guajillo chiles, stemmed and cut into pieces
- 1 cup water
- 5 orange slices
- Tequila Reposado
Add 1 cinnamon stick, clove apple cider, chiles, and water into a pot; bring to a boil; simmer 10 minutes.
To serve: muddle 1 orange slice per cup; add 1 1/2 oz. Tequila; strain cider into cup; garnish with cinnamon stick.
