Kudos for Food Arts: Nikki Metzgar

Friends and Families, Nikki Metzgar’s article on Houston that ran in the January/February 2013 issue of Food Arts, has been selected for inclusion in Cornbread Nation 7: The Best of Southern Food Writing, which will be published by the University of Georgia Press in spring 2014. Her story chronicles chef Chris Shepherd’s (Underbelly) self-education project as he became part of the lives of a number of Asian chefs and restaurateurs, an increasingly influential group on the Houston foodscape.
