Tales of the Winning Cocktailians

The 11th annual Tales of the Cocktail festival came to a close on Saturday, July 20, with the Spirited Awards. At the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans, the Great Gatsby–themed awards ceremony honored 18 luminaries of the cocktail industry, including authors, brand ambassadors, bartenders, and the tasty spirits themselves.

Mixology mavens from New York City swept most of the categories, a feat that would have pleased Gatsby. Who else went home from the Spirited Awards with a Reidel Crystal trophy? Food Arts toasts to this year’s award winners:
