Pastry pro, award-winning author, and regular Food Arts contributor Rose Levy Beranbaum was recently interviewed by El País, based out of Madrid, for her expertise in bread baking. “Apparently home bread baking has become a big thing in Spain, perhaps due to the economy,” she says, “and also due to what I perceive to be a growing interest in all things artisanal. I love the photo of my stud muffin they used. I had forgotten all about that amazing bread.”
