Some 1,000 guests gathered at Chicago’s Navy Pier for the Food Arts 16th annual Championship BBQ & Cookout, where 14 chefs faced off over flames for what they deemed the winning dish. BellyQ's chef Bill Kim came out on top with his smoked Australian wagyu beef and kimchi potato salad with Chinese black bean salt, and took home Waring Commercial’s X-Prep Variable Speed Blender, 3-Cup Spice Blender, and Dual Induction Cooktop. The money raised by the event will benefit Share Our Strength’s efforts to fight childhood hunger.
